DSP Top 10 Films of 2018

This year was a bit tricky, but we finally settled on our Top 10 Films of 2018.

The opening montage showcases various movies we saw in 2018; some of which nearly made the Top 10, some that did, and others that weren't rated high enough but had some good shots and/or elements in them.

Films we did not see before making this list that might have been contenders (in no particular order):
Roma, First Reformed, First Man, Green Book, The Night Comes for Us, Won't You Be My Neighbor

How we chose:
Movies must have a US release date in 2018 that would qualify it for that year's Awards (i.e. film festival premiers do not count, but limited theatrical runs do). However, we are not opposed to online wide releases. The films do not have to be watched in 2018, but they must be seen before the list is agreed upon and editing has commenced on the video. Each Dead Shark Productions member compiles their own individual Top 10, then the movies are given a rating based on where they fall on each list, the scores are tallied and movies arranged in order from highest to lowest. At this point any final adjustments can be made (e.g. in case of ties, or if someone feels strongly about moving a film up that only they have seen). In the end, everyone must agree to the final list.
