Week 52 - Favourite Photo of the Year
This pic will never win any sports photography awards, but it was a major achievement for me this summer....... having taken cricket photos for many, many years, starting with a Brownie 127 in about 1965 (don't go there!) in the days when my Dad played the game, then moving on to my other half and then my son, I had never ever managed to capture the exact moment when the wicket fell (indicated here by the bails flying off the stumps when the batsmen has been bowled out - I'm adding these details for those of you across the water who are maybe not familiar with the game!!) So this will continue to be a cherished capture for me as I may not achieve the same in my photographic lifetime!
