Well first off hitting a bag is a full body workout and a great way to burn calories if your fitness goal is to lose weight...Hitting a heavy bag can also be a great alternative to those who don’t enjoy long runs or treadmills.. not too mention that running will only burn a fraction of the calories that you otherwise would be burning during a High Intensity Workout ( H.I.T )
