- After a bankruptcy, the Wilks brothers took over and this Rover 12HP was the first of the so-called P-project, subsequently became known as the P1.
- The P-project continued until the 60s (P6 was the last).
- The new range included a six light Saloon, a four light Sports Saloon with small external boot and this four-seat Tourer.
- All cars were traditionally built with steel panels fitted to a wooden frame.
