- The “200 Line High Pockets” was designed by John Reinhart and was the entry-level Packard, available as this 4-door Sedan and as 2-door Club Sedan.
- In 1952, Packard would introduce its Pan-American concept car and it would be on display at the 1952 New York International Motor Sports Show.
- It has a three speed selective sliding manual gearbox with Automatic Paddle Control, a Carter dual downdraft carburettor, single dry plate clutch disc, a 6-Volts electric system, a 67 liter fuel tank, a spare tire and jack set, front and rear bumper guards, dual horns, chrome wheel rings, turn indicators and rear wheel drive.
- The chassis, 122 inch wheelbase (Packard shortest wheelbase), with steel body has worm & roller steering, independent parallelogram coil spring suspension at the front, longitudinal leaf spring suspension at the rear with a semi-floating type rear axle and hydraulic 12 inch drum brakes all around.
- An overdrive, Packards own Ultramatic (automatic) transmission, Bendix power brakes, “Easamatic”, which was a Packard exclusive, full-wheel covers, white-wall tires, two sun visors, a radio, tinted glass, heater, carpeting and two-tone colouring were optional.
