Special:
- The X-BOW is built to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of KTM and was introduced at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show.
- Originally, KTM planned a production of 500 units per year, however, the company increased production to 1,000 cars a year and built a new plant near Graz due to high demand.
- This KTM anniversary sports car was designed by KISKA in Salzburg (Austria).
- Dallara Automobili in Parma (Italy) produced the chassis and the carbon fiber body work.
- To demonstrate cooperation with Dallara, the first 100 cars were called "Dallara Edition".
- The rear mid-engine is a turbocharged direct injection four-cylinder DOHC 2.0 litre Audi engine.
- Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik assembles the whole car.
- This ultra-light sports car is created for the track, although it is approved for road use (road legal).
- This open sports car with racing technology has no doors, no windscreen, a six-speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive.
- It also has no electronic driving aids such as ABS, ASR and ESP, nor comfort components such as air conditioning, radio etc.
- The monocoque is made of carbon, suspension and damping elements by WP Suspension (front in pushrod arrangement), it has a removable steering wheel, Brembo Racing disc brakes, a fully aerodynamic bottom plate with integrated diffuser.
- It has a 40 liter fuel tank and a fuel consumption between 7,2 liter (Street) and 8.3 liter / 100 km (R).
- The X-BOW is available as Street, Clubsport, Super Light, GT4, R (a limited edition of only 30 cars with 304 bhp / 6.300 rpm - 231 km/h) and GT (with front and side windows and wipers).
- The GT is FIA-homologated, so it can be used on race tracks.
