This is my BEST picture ever…
I was doing my photography course at that time and very first time I went to my personal out door assignment at Kila Raipur sports festival, Punjab, India. I was using my first SLR fully manual 35mm Nikon FM10 camera at that time (Feb, 2006). I was very excited because I was going to use COLOUR film first time. Till then I was using black and white films. I was not too much familiar with colour flims and its sensitivity to light and colour temperature. But though I was doing course and read a lot about it before going into the field. Kila Raipur Sports festival was very huge ground for me. I like and dislike same time that in Kila Raipur’s Stadium many sports events running at a time which is not a easy task for budding photographer to cover whole episode. I only know how I handle that situation. It was like new driver trying to drive in congested road. Must say that was very interesting time in my life. I learnt practically there. And at end I came home with wonderful result. I love this picture very much. The reason behind is this is my FIRST PANNING shot; this is my first wonderful picture with COLOUR FILM. The most defficult task with manual cam is Focusing. And if you are shooting sports photography you have to focus fast to freeze that moment. So, I must say its not easy and dont know how this miracle happened with me. when I washed / printed this picture I was shoked with results. I would like to add one more thing; this picture is exhibited so many times in many salons through out in India.
So, Friends, I posted this picture just to share with my flickr friends and to know their view on this. How'z my first attempt?

Camera: Nikon FM10
Cassette: Fuji Pro, 100 ASA
Exposure: f/16, 1/30sec
Lens: Sigma 28-105mm
No Tripod/Monopod used.
PP work: Used Photoshop to enhance colour, contrast and brightness.
