OK, so this was pretty epic.
Backstory: I’ve been working with Callie O’Connell, an amazing 8th-grade volleyball player from TX over the last 6 months.
During our first session, she said her favorite player in the world was Hannah Sedwick (formerly Lockin), the All-American setter from Baylor University and the best volleyball player in the country.
So, in an attempt to do something special for our last coaching session, I had reached out to Hannah on a total Hail Mary to see if she’d be willing to “crash” our last Zoom session.
Amazingly, she said YES! And she couldn’t have been more gracious with her time.

Here was the best volleyball player in the country taking time out of her day to give back to one of her biggest fans.
Hannah talked about her mental game, playing in the Final Four last year, how she copes with confidence issues, visualization/imagery, and more.
She couldn’t have been more awesome. Talk about a total class act and it made Callie’s millenium (not to mention mine!)
So huge thanks to Hannah - you have a new Baylor volleyball fan from NJ.
