What Are The Different Types Of Industrial Ovens And Their Applications?

The ovens are the heated chambers which are used for a variety of industrial processing applications such as Curing, Baking, Drying, Preheating, Sterilization, Baking, Annealing, Bonding, Tempering, Aging, etc. All these applications are required in the different types of industries which are focused on manufacturing final products from the raw material. The industrial ovens are used in various types of industries either for small or large volumes. The electrical device is capable of working with the various temperature ranges, configurations, and sizes. The device is used in various application areas as per the requirement. The quality of the devices matters most regardless of industrial application and the industry.

Various Types Of Ovens And Their Application Areas:-

Drying Ovens: As the name of the device suggests, it is used to remove the moisture content in the product. It is used in various laboratories and industrial areas which are engaged in drying experiments. They are also called as Kilns which are used traditionally for the process of annealing, fusing or deforming glass products, heat treatment for metallic work pieces, melting of metal for casting, etc. They are the best industrial devices for applications like painting and pre-treating.

Curing Oven: The type of ovens is designed to carry out a chemical reaction in some substance while keeping it at a particular temperature. The most common application of such ovens is powder coating of the products. They are used widely in the Aerospace, Automotive, Home Appliance Manufacturing, Construction, Aeronautical, Metallurgy, Engineering, Marine, Electronics, etc. They are used mainly in three applications pre-heating (prepares metals for coating processes), drying parts (elimination of moisture content from the various products during washing) and curing different coatings (elevates the temperature to reach desired coating results).

Conveyor Ovens: The device is designed for such processes which demand versatility and reliability, they are manufactured to give outstanding performance and to achieve superior air temperature uniformity on all interior parts due to vertical airflow and high volume. The typical applications of the device include pre-heating, bonding, drying, heat treating, etc.

Hot Air Ovens: The device is designed to sterilize the products which help to kill the bacteria from the various devices. Various types of industrial application use dry heat to sterilize the various medical equipment, etc. They do not require water and there is no much pressure buildup within the device which means they are safer to work. The complete cycle involves heating of the device to the required temperature, maintaining the temperature, turning it off, and finally cooling down the article in the device till they reach room temperature.
