FANATICS IS REPLACING PANINI & TOPPS FOR SPORTS CARDS - REACTION & NEW INFO

We recently got some big news that Fanatics will be replacing Panini and Topps as the exclusive sports/trading card manufacturer for baseball and basketball. The MLB, MLBPA, NBA, & NBAPA have agreed to a deal that will transfer the licenses to Fanatics over the next few/several years. The NFL & NFLPA are expected to also be a part of this for the football license. This ends a long run for Panini and Topps in the baseball, basketball, and football sports card space. Fanatics is expected to launch a new subsidiary that will produce cards for the three major sports in the future.
